Drago Mocambo Espresso Gusto Intenso

Drago Mocambo Espresso Gusto Intenso ist ein kräftiger Espresso mit ausgeprägtem Körper und sehr geringer Säure. Rauchige und holzige Noten prägen seinen intensiven Charakter und sorgen für ein kräftiges, typisch italienisch geprägtes Geschmacksprofil.

Die Mischung aus Arabica- und Robusta-Bohnen verbindet brasilianischen Hochlandkaffee mit kräftigem Robusta aus Westafrika. Besonders als Espresso sowie in Verbindung mit Milch kommt der intensive Charakter der Röstung gut zur Geltung.

Herkunft der Bohnen

Für den Gusto Intenso werden Arabica-Bohnen aus der brasilianischen Region Sul de Minas mit Robusta-Bohnen aus Kpalimé in Togo kombiniert.

Arabica: Sul de Minas, Brasilien – ca. 1.180 m Anbauhöhe
Robusta: Kpalimé, Togo – ca. 790 m Anbauhöhe

Traditionelle Langzeitröstung

Drago Mocambo röstet den Espresso in einem traditionellen italienischen Steinofen. Die Bohnen werden über einen Zeitraum von etwa 16 bis 18 Minuten langsam und schonend geröstet. Dabei wird die Temperatur schrittweise erhöht, um die unterschiedlichen Aromen der Bohnen herauszuarbeiten.

Nach dem Röstvorgang werden die Bohnen mit Luft abgekühlt. Die langsame Röstung trägt zum kräftigen Aroma und zur geringen Säure des Gusto Intenso bei.
